I have D-link DUB 1312 ethernet, it has same port and same chipset too with hori (ASIX 88179). But it cant connected with my switch, I already tried everything I know and everyone suggest from the internet but still the same. Can you help me please?

I have the new M1 MacBook Pro 14" with the M1 Max chip. When trying to use the USB Type-C cable for video, charging, and data it provides a very intermittent signal. It will take many instances of turning the monitor and laptop off, power cycling, plugging and unplugging cables until I get a signal. This signal lasts for about 20/30 minutes max then cuts out with no explanation. I'm using the cable provided by Dell. I have tried all ports on the laptop. I have the most recent drivers installed. I have tried another high wattage USB Type-C cable from Belkin.
USB-A (particularly USB 2.0) through USB-C is a tricky beast, your cable has to support it. Has to include additional 4 wires specifically for USB 2.0. I have no clue how you can find out if the cable you see in a shop has it or not.
